Operating During COVID-19

To our customers and suppliers:

Kostklip is responding to the rapidly changing reality of the COVID-19 Coronavirus by proactively addressing the possible impact to our business, or business partners and our customers. The health and safety of all are of utmost importance to us. These are some of the steps kostklip is taking to ensure a safe work environment and secure supply chain.

Kostklip enacted the first stage of our response plan over a month ago by instituting a more regimented cleaning and sanitization strategy with increased disinfecting of surfaces, implementing more hand sanitizer stations and making personal safety equipment readily available. In order to ensure a safe work environment we have banned all bsuiness travel as well as client and vendor meetings in and out of our buildings. We are also requiring any staff that have travelled to either self-isolate at home or work from home for two weeks for those staff whose roles can support it.

The majority of our clients are in the retail sector, especially grocery and we understand the importance of maintaining a secure supply chain. Kostklip is in constant communication with our raw material vendors to ensure there are no anticipated breaks in the supply of their materials. Kostklip will also be stocking up on raw materials which are sourced throughout North America to ensure we can meet future client demand.

Kostklip has an established emergency taskforce that covers the key areas of the organization. This group is empowered to make responsible decisions to keep the company running, to protect the financial health of the company and to ensure our staff are safe and supported physically, emotionally and financially. It is our policy to meet or exceed the guidance provided by Public Health Agency of Canada and B.C. Centre for Disease Control. We are meeting daily and communicating regularly to ensure our plans are enacted and that we have a succinct message. We have additional plans in place should this pandemic escalate.
